Reflection

This is my Cry of the Taniwha Prejudice Example.

I felt that this work was interesting because it's very different to the other work I've done.

I found this work easy because the story gave me lots of information about this character.

From this story I have learnt that when you first see somebody they might not be what you think.

I have been learning to summarise and record research in my own words.

I found summarising the information into my own words because I understood the text well.

I found this interesting because I leant lots of new things like there was a tsunami going almost as fast as a jet-plane.

Now I plan to find more information about natural disasters.

Understanding a Characters Impact

I was learning to find the impact of a character in the story. I found this work okay because I already watched the movie. I found doing this work easy because I remember the story well so I know what Jesse was like at the beginning of the story. Next I should read more stories in my on time and try to make out the impact of one of the characters in the story.

I was learning to compare characters. I compared Jesse and Leslie from Bridge to Teribithia.

It was easy because I already knew a lot about the characters.

My next step is to think about who I am more like and what I have in common with these characters.
