Understanding a Characters Impact

I was learning to find the impact of a character in the story. I found this work okay because I already watched the movie. I found doing this work easy because I remember the story well so I know what Jesse was like at the beginning of the story. Next I should read more stories in my on time and try to make out the impact of one of the characters in the story.

Councillors

This is the picture of the councillors. My leader-ship goal this year is to be able to make a speech to lots of people clearly and loudly.

Swimming Competition

This is the picture of the inter-school swimming team. I was in free-style, back-stroke and relay B. In free style I came 4th which is very good for me since I haven't came 4th before. I came 6th in the back-stroke and my team came 3rd in the relay.

This is my name art that I have completed. It has concentric circles with the warm colours in my name and cool colours on the outside.

Factors and multiples problem

This is my voice thread that I have made with Me, Ben & Hank. It is about the factors and multiples problem that we had to work out. I found this work interesting because I haven't seen a problem like this also at the start I there was "triangular number" I wasn't sure of it at first but I remembered what it meant later on. My next step is to get more puzzles like this but gradually getting harder.

I was learning to compare characters. I compared Jesse and Leslie from Bridge to Teribithia.

It was easy because I already knew a lot about the characters.

My next step is to think about who I am more like and what I have in common with these characters.

Hand-Shakes Solution

We have been working on a problem about how many hand-shakes there would be if some mathematicians met and shook hands with each other once. I found it tricky before my teacher gave me a clue to use algebra. My next step is to find more problems like this to challenge myself.
